BUSINESS LICENCES

All active businesses in the District of Tumbler Ridge are required to have a valid Tumbler Ridge Business Licence and to comply with the District’s Business Bylaw No. 644.

In addition, Bylaw No. 645 outlines details of Tumbler Ridge’s Inter-Community Business Licence which is a partnership with our neighbouring communities of Dawson Creek, Fort St. John, Chetwynd, Hudson’s Hope, Taylor and Pouce Coupe.

For an additional fee of $130 per year, Tumbler Ridge businesses can operate in any of the participating communities without having to purchase individual business licences in those communities. The same applies to businesses from these other communities that wish to operate in Tumbler Ridge.
