As a well-managed community and one of the most financially stable in the country due primarily to our heavy industrial and resource tax base, Tumbler Ridge is well-positioned for growth.

All active businesses in the District of Tumbler Ridge are required to have a valid Tumbler Ridge Business Licence and to comply with the District’s Business Bylaw No. 644.

In addition, Bylaw No. 645 outlines details of Tumbler Ridge’s Inter-Community Business Licence which is a partnership with our neighbouring communities of Dawson Creek, Fort St. John, Chetwynd, Hudson’s Hope, Taylor and Pouce Coupe.
