Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions

Looking for an unique destination for your next conference, convention or meeting in beautiful northern British Columbia? Tumbler Ridge’s wilderness setting in the spectacular forested foothills of the Rockies and at the heart of the Tumbler Ridge UNESCO Global Geopark, makes for a stunning, surprisingly accessible and unforgettable experience for delegations of between 20 and 150 people.

We have a range of venue and accommodation options, restaurants, caterers and shops. All are here and ready to serve you!

Tumbler Ridge offers unlimited opportunities for outdoor adventure to combine with any event. With spectacular hiking, snowshoeing, riverboat trips, dinosaur track tours, paleontological museums, helicopter rides and more, there’s more than enough to occupy the entire family while meetings are in progress! Pre-packaged trips/tours are available!

In addition to our own municipal airport with a 1200 metre (4000 foot) paved runway for private charters, Fort St. John, Dawson Creek and Grande Prairie all have airports nearby with short hop connections from Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary.

We have a range of convention venues to choose from. These include the Trend Mountain Conference Centre which is fully equipped to host larger corporate business meetings, conventions, celebrations and weddings.

Other unique venues are also available in the area including our executive golf course for gala dinners and corporate events and Tumbler Ridge’s iconic, universally accessible visitor centre which is fully equipped for interactive meeting and presentations.

This emerging conferencing sector in Tumbler Ridge is closely interconnected with our growing tourism industry. It is providing exciting new markets for our existing businesses and service providers as well as business development opportunities for event planners, catering companies and visitor experience providers. These are opportunities that will supplement and support our existing meeting venues, hotel and catering service providers.

Please contact the economic development office to make no obligation enquiries and to find out more.

Work is currently underway to modernize our existing fibre optic network and to expand it into every residential, commercial and industrial neighbourhood in Tumbler Ridge. This means that every home or downtown office space will be able to provide supporting services to our expanding tourism, clean energy, conferencing and natural resources industries as well as to other sectors that aren’t directly affiliated with Tumbler Ridge.

Our economic development office is keen to hear your thoughts on what is important to further strengthen this sector and to provide the assistance you may need. Please contact the economic development office directly for further assistance
